They are collected from the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, India — one of the seven sacred rivers of Hinduism — and are considered sacred to Shiva. The comfort stone form is shaped and polished from Narmada River stone, preserving the sacred origin while creating a more portable, everyday form.
