Goldstone is a man-made glass created by melting silica with copper oxide in a low-oxygen environment, which causes the copper to crystallize into tiny metallic flecks. It was first created by Italian glassmakers in the 17th century — legend has it that monks accidentally discovered the process, leading to the name "monk's gold." Despite being human-made, Goldstone has been used in spiritual practice for centuries and carries a genuine, warm energy that many find deeply uplifting.
